In honor of Women's Equality Day on Sunday, we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible ladies in sustainable fashion. Keep kicking butt!

– Kristine Upesleja –

Kristine has been in the sustainable fashion game for over 20 years! She has educated the public about innovative fabrics through speaking engagements, workshops, and more. Kristine's research has led her to founding, and running, the Innovative Materials Collection at FIDM Los Angeles.

While she is not managing the materials library she is consulting businesses through her agency, Madisons– Innovative Materials. Not only was Kristine a wonderful contributor to the Beyond the Label guidebook, but she will also be on a panel at the Study Hall event this Sunday (see above post!). Find more about Kristine here!
