Taryn is one of the industry leaders that will be challenges & innovations in fashion April 26th
Monday April 15th@ 6:00pm - Tampa Museum of Art
Sustainable fashion advocate and instructor, and “Beyond the Label” founder Taryn Hipwell, a fashion industry professional for 20+ years, will be leading a one-night-only workshop where participants construct a creative headpiece, belt, or other space-age accent for the Tampa Museum of Art’s Intergalactic Disco-themed fundraiser gala, Pride & Passion. Use our stash of repurposed and ecologically friendly materials, or bring in your old sequined dresses, disco accessories, and shiny stuff of all kinds to repurpose into a space-age accent for your Pride & Passion ensemble! Taryn will guide you from your concept to finished piece, and will help participants with basic stitching and construction instruction as needed. Classes are sponsored by the Tampa Museum of Art and take place in the City of Tampa Roberta M. Golding Art Studios located at the Bryan Glazer Family JCC.
